A Secure and Anonymous Authentication Protocol Based on Three-Factor Wireless Medical Sensor Networks

Wireless medical sensor networks (WMSNs), a type of wireless network (WSN), have enabled professionals to identify patients’ health information in real time and diagnose their conditions. However, since communication is performed through an open channel, attacker can steal or manipulate the transmitted received information. Because these attacks are directly related lives, it necessary prevent upfront by providing security WMSN communication. Although authentication protocols continuously developed establish communication, they still vulnerable attacks. Recently, Yuanbing et al. proposed secure scheme for WMSN. They emphasized that protocol able resist various ensure mutual authentication. Unfortunately, this paper demonstrates al.’s smart card stolen attacks, ID/password guessing node capture In order overcome weaknesses effectiveness existing studies user anonymity WMSN, we propose anonymous protocol. The capture, guessing, man-in-the-middle To demonstrate protocol, perform formal informal analyses using AVISPA tools, ROR models, BAN logic. Additionally, compare aspects with prove has excellent security. We also our compared computation costs. Our low comparable costs protocols. Thus, provide services environment.
